French language classes for university admission

The Fleura Centre offers French language and specialist diplomas to foreign students wishing to enter university education at undergraduate or master’s degree level.

These are one-year diplomas associating French language with disciplinary instruction in the student’s chosen field. Students must attain a B2 Level in order to enter a university programme.
 

Diplomas and disciplines

French literature (for admission in Year 3 undergraduate)

Prerequisites
B1 level and undergraduate qualification or equivalent in literature from the home country.

University admission
After the programme, students must be approved by the disciplinary admissions committee for enrollment in Year 3 undergraduate.

French literature (for admission in Year 1 master’s)

Prerequisites
B2 level and undergraduate qualification or equivalent in literature from the home country.

University admission
After the programme, students must be approved by the disciplinary admissions committee for enrollment in Year 1 master’s.

Language sciences (for admission in Year 3 undergraduate)
 

Prerequisites
B1 level and undergraduate qualification or equivalent in French from the home country.

Tourism (for admission in Year 3 undergraduate)

Prerequisites
B1 level and undergraduate qualification or equivalent in social sciences (history, tourism, geography, languages, letters) from the home country.

Information and communication (for admission in Year 3 undergraduate)

Prerequisites

B1 level and undergraduate qualification or equivalent in these disciplines from the home country.

Science, specialisation in chemistry (for admission in Year 2 undergraduate)

Prerequisites
A2 level and one year undergraduate study in the home country.

Science, specialisation in chemistry , physics, computer science, or mathematics (for admission in Year 1 master’s)

Prerequisites
B1 level and undergraduate qualification or equivalent in the appropriate field from the home country.

University admission
After the programme, students must be approved by the disciplinary admissions committee for enrollment in Year 1 master’s.

Depending on your personal situation, you may also have to take out French social security cover.
 

Enrollment

Pre-enrollment is done on-line.
On-line pre-enrollment only concerns students wishing to enroll for the first time. It is compulsory for long-term study D-Visa.

Application document for semester 1 2018-2019 must be downloaded before 10 July 2018 and must be returned by 12 July 2018 at the latest, either by regular mail (CLM / Centre FLEURA - 34, avenue Carnot BP 185 - 63006 Clermont-Ferrand cedex 1) or by email (centre.fleura@uca.fr).
You can follow your application through the web-link. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application, and you will be able to download the necessary attestations for your D-Visa application (non EU only). These attestations will also enable you to finialise your enrollment once you arrive in France.
